The Machine Pitch division is for boys and girls that are League Age 7 or 8. This division is designed for kids to have fun while continuing to learn the fundamentals of baseball, including hitting, fielding, and base running. The kids will hit off a pitching machine so they can develop the proper fundamentals and confidence to hit. Using a pitching machine will also create more action in the field, giving the kids more fielding opportunities and hopefully creating a fun experience for kids age 7 and 8.
NOTE: For the Fall 2007 and Spring 2008 seasons, a boy’s age on APRIL 30, 2008 and a girl’s age on DECEMBER 31, 2007 will determine their “League Age”.
