The Minors Softball division is for girls that are League Age 7 thru 12 who are not selected to a Majors Division team in the draft. Note that league age 7 and 8 year olds are only eligible for the Minors Division while league age 9 thru 12 year olds can be either Minors or Majors. The Minors Softball division is designed to teach softball fundamentals and prepare girls for play in the Majors Softball division. This division is designed for kids to have fun while continuing to learn the fundamentals of softball, including hitting, fielding, throwing, and base running. If there are not enough teams within CLL, we will “interleague” with other surrounding little leagues.
NOTE: For the Fall 2007 and Spring 2008 seasons, a boy’s age on APRIL 30, 2008 and a girl’s age on DECEMBER 31, 2007 will determine their “League Age”.
