A strong volunteer base is at the center of every successful Little League program. From coaches to board members to team parents, every volunteer plays a part in providing a great Little League experience! See below for more information on volunteer opportunities.

Volunteer Opportunities
Head Coaches
The head coach/manager has the ultimate responsibility for the team and team activities. He/She reports to the League Coordinator. He/She is responsible for the overall development of the team and insuring every player has a positive experience.
Expectations:
-Schedule 1-2 practices per week
-Organize practice content (resources will be provided from LittleLeague.org)
-Communicate with parents regarding schedule changes, events and activities
Assistant Coach
The Assistant coach is there to assist the head coach. Assistant coaches work at the discretion of the head coach assisting during practices and filling in for the head coach when necessary. When possible, we try to designate multiple assistant coaches per team to help with practices and other coaching responsibilities.
Expectations:
- Assist coaches during practices and games
-Assisting with player safety and parent communication
Team Parent
Team Parents play a critical role in supporting CLL and the team to which their player is assigned. The Team Parent helps organize the families for a successful season.
Expectations:
-Help coaches communicate with parents regarding events, practices, and other activites
-Helping coaches collect necessary forms (medical release, residency, ect.)
-Help keep dugout safe
-(Optional: Help coordinate team snacks)
Umpire
Umpires officiate and control games, events, and competitions in a confident, appropriate manner. They also make game calls with confidence and knowledge of league rules. Keep track of event start times, and start or stop play as necessary.
General Volunteer
General volunteers support the league and their teams in a variety of ways whether it be helping out during a practice, supporting a league event, fundraising, and much more.
Event Committee Member
Event committee members help organize and run league events such as opening day celebration, league pictures, and much more.
Sponsorship Committee Member
Sponsorship committee members support CLL by helping to aquire league sponsors and fundraising.
